Returns

We offer a 14-day return period. You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, with any tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or another proof of purchase.

To start a return, email us at support@zipzapchargers.com. If your return is approved, we will send you instructions on where and how to send your parcel. Return postage is at your own expense.

Please request a return before sending anything back. Items that arrive without an approved return cannot be accepted.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered, contact us straight away so we can assess it and put it right. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Ineligible refunds

Items returned used, damaged, or in a condition that prevents us restocking them are not eligible for a refund. Everything sent back must reach us in the condition it was dispatched, including its original packaging.

Shipping fees and order protection charges are not refundable.

Exchanges

Ordered the wrong model, or would rather have a different Zip Zap product? Email our support team and we will arrange an exchange.

Once your original product reaches us, a $9.99 handling and postage fee applies to cover processing and sending the replacement. All exchange requests are subject to approval.

Refunds

Once your return arrives, we inspect it and let you know the outcome. If your refund is approved, it goes back automatically to your original payment method.

Processing times vary between providers, so it can take several business days for your bank or card issuer to post the refund to your account. Shipping fees and order protection charges are not refundable.

Shipping Policy

Last updated 27 August 2026

All Zip Zap orders ship domestically with Australia Post.

Unfortunately, due to current carrier and transport restrictions affecting the shipment of lithium battery products from Australia, international shipping is not currently available.

We’re working towards making Zip Zap available internationally and hope to offer international shipping again in the near future.

Standard post is free on orders over $150.

Dispatch and tracking

We aim to get your parcel out the door as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 48 hours from the time of purchase for dispatch, unless your item is a pre-order. If you need something urgently, email support@zipzapchargers.com and we will do what we can.

Once your order is submitted you will receive order and shipping updates, and a tracking number by email or SMS as soon as it ships.

Delivery times and delays

Standard delivery usually takes 3–7 business days and Express 1–3 business days, Australia-wide. During periods of postal delay or freight backlog, delivery can take up to 14 days.

Once a parcel is with Australia Post it is under their control. Delays at that point are outside our hands, but we will always chase it up and do everything we can to get your parcel to you.

Delivery and addresses

Our orders do not require a signature on delivery. Please make sure the address you use is secure, as we cannot be held responsible for parcels that are stolen after delivery.

  • We hold no liability where an incorrect postal address is provided.
  • Parcels returned to sender that need to be re-shipped are re-shipped at the customer’s cost.
  • We are not responsible for any additional taxes, delays or rejections that may occur at customs.

Shipping Protection

For $3.49 at checkout, our Shipping Protection Program covers your order against loss or damage while in transit with Australia Post.

If your item is lost, we will open an investigation with Australia Post and, once the loss is confirmed, send a replacement by the same shipping method you originally chose. If your item arrives damaged, we will replace it and provide a return label for the damaged unit.

Shipping Protection terms

  • Enrolment. Shipping Protection can be added during checkout on eligible orders.
  • Coverage period. Cover starts when your order ships and ends once the item is successfully delivered.
  • Claims. Claims must be made with our support team within 7 days of delivery. Claims made after that period are not eligible.
  • Documentation. We need your order number, plus any relevant evidence such as photos of the damage or correspondence from Australia Post.
  • Returning damaged items. You may be asked to return a damaged item using the label we provide. Failure to return it may result in the claim being denied.
  • Non-refundable. The Shipping Protection fee itself is not refundable, including where the product is returned.

Product Warranty

Last updated 26 August 2026

Every Zip Zap product carries a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, from the date of original purchase. It applies to anything bought through our online store or from an authorised reseller.

What is covered

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship arising under normal use and in accordance with the product instructions.

If your product develops a fault covered by this warranty within 12 months of purchase, Zip Zap Chargers will replace it at no cost to you.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit or replace those rights.

What is not covered

  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use.
  • Misuse, mishandling, lack of care, or accidental damage.
  • Use of the product for anything other than its intended purpose.
  • Damage caused by unauthorised repair or modification.
  • Subjective judgements about performance, such as charging speed feeling slower than expected.

Making a claim

Email support@zipzapchargers.com or use the form on our support page, and include your order number, which you would have received in your email confirmation and inside your parcel (e.g. #11576).

The more detail you can give us about the issue, the faster we can resolve it. A short description of what is happening, when it started and any photos or video of the fault all help our team fast-track your claim.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

This warranty sits alongside the consumer guarantees you already have under Australian Consumer Law. It adds to those rights, and nothing here takes them away.
